Jim Boswell is the Executive Director and founder of Quanta Analytics. Mr. Boswell has:
- an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School;
- an M.P.A. from Indiana University, School of Public and Environmental Affairs; and
- a B.A. in mathematics from Hanover College.
Mr. Boswell is a veteran, who served as a junior officer on a fleet ballistic missile submarine during the Cold War. He worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for fifteen-years prior to starting Quanta Analytics. In 1995 Mr. Boswell was awarded a Vice-Presidential “Hammer” Award for his work designing the primary systems used by Ginnie Mae to monitor the risk of their $600 billion mortgage-backed security portfolio and he was integrally involved in analyzing data and developing solutions throughout the S&L crisis during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Mr. Boswell is the author of Crush Depth Alert (Fourth Lloyd Productions, 2010), subtitled Solutions for Supplying Power to America’s Distressed Financial Systems. He currently writes opinion pieces for Business Insider and SwiftEconomics.com on a regular basis.
